We took first step in Agricultural Business in 1995 when we started the business of citrus fruits (Kinnow / Mandarin) and use to sell the products in the local market, gradually increasing to sell in the southern part of the Pakistan.
Sargodha is the main citrus producing district, with about 23 per cent of Pakistan’s total citrus plantings. Our firm was initially responsible for the Grading, Sorting, Polishing, and Packing of Fresh Citrus Fruits for local Pakistani entrepreneurs and in 2013 now we have taken initiative to market our products directly in the international market.
Pakistan is the tenth largest producer of Kinnow (Mandarin) in the world (as per FAO Statistics 2009-2010). Due to the inherent good quality of taste, foreign fruit vendors generally prefer Kinnow from Pakistan. According to an estimate proximately two percent of the total Kinnow produced all over the world is grown in Pakistan.
In 2003, we established a small firm namely “Sojawal Enterprise” and place a new fruit processing plant in Chak No 104 NB Near to Sargodha City, Punjab, Pakistan and with the passage of time we upgraded the processing plant. In January 2013 our advanced Processing Plant’s capacity is 5 tons of Kinnow per hour. The total seasonal capacity is 14,800 tons of processed Kinnow on average. , Plant runs at 12 hours per day. Finished products are strictly conforming to our quality standers.
To rest ensure the International market entrepreneurs our integrity and our values, we have formed a legal company name "Ayan Citrus (Private) Limited Company" in 2013 “in accordance with rules and regulations of “The companies ordinance, 1984 of Pakistan”. We are also a member of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry and other reputed business associations; our credentials can be verified at any time. With this legal status, we have planned to seek potential customers for Exporting Fresh Citrus Fruits to Countries mainly Central Asia, the Middle East, Russia and all over the world.
